All-on-4 · full-arch restoration

A permanent set of teeth on four implants — placed in one visit

A full-arch restoration that ends the denture days. Fixed, natural-looking teeth — and most patients walk out the day of surgery with a working bite.

Who’s a good candidate?

  • You’ve lost most or all of your teeth in an arch, or you’re close to it.
  • You wear a denture you can’t tolerate — slipping, sore spots, food restrictions, or covering the roof of your mouth.
  • You want a permanent solution, not something you take out at night.
  • Your remaining teeth (if any) aren’t worth restoring individually — they’re heavily decayed, periodontally compromised, or already failing.
  • You have moderate bone height — even without ideal bone volume, the angled placement of All-on-4 often makes it possible without grafting.

Why four implants is enough

Traditional full-arch restorations needed 6–8 implants. All-on-4 changes the geometry: the back two implants are tilted at an angle, which uses the densest bone in your jaw and creates a wider, more stable support base for the bridge above. The result is fewer implants, less surgery, and reliable long-term function. Twenty-plus years of clinical research back the technique.

The day of surgery

  1. Sedation + anesthesia. You’re comfortable throughout. Most patients have IV sedation or oral sedation in addition to local anesthetic.
  2. Remaining teeth removed (if applicable), gentle bone shaping if needed.
  3. Four implants placed at the planned positions.
  4. Temporary bridge attached the same day. You walk out with teeth.
  5. Healing over 3–6 months while the bone fuses to the implants. Soft food at first, gradually back to normal.
  6. Final bridge delivered after full healing — custom-fabricated for ideal fit, function, and appearance.

Common questions

Frequently asked

What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 replaces an entire upper or lower arch of teeth using just four strategically-placed implants. A custom bridge of 10–14 teeth is anchored onto those four implants, giving you a permanent, non-removable set of teeth that look and feel like the real thing.
Why only four implants?
By tilting the back implants at an angle, we use the densest, strongest bone available — which means fewer implants are needed, surgery is less invasive, and you can often skip bone grafting. It’s a well-studied technique with 95%+ long-term success rates.
Do I get teeth the same day?
Yes. Most All-on-4 patients leave on the day of surgery with a fixed temporary bridge in place. The temporary stays in for 3–6 months while the bone integrates with the implants. The permanent, final bridge is delivered after healing.
Who is a candidate?
Patients who are missing all (or nearly all) of their upper or lower teeth, or who are wearing a denture they can’t tolerate. We use a CBCT scan to confirm enough bone is available — and even when bone is limited, the angled placement of All-on-4 often makes treatment possible without grafting.
How is it different from regular dentures?
All-on-4 is fixed in place — you don’t take it out. No adhesives, no slipping when you talk or eat, no covering the roof of your mouth. The bite force is dramatically better than a denture, and the appearance is closer to natural teeth.
What does it cost?
All-on-4 typically runs $20,000–$30,000 per arch in our area. That includes surgery, the temporary bridge, and the final fixed bridge. We provide a detailed estimate after your CBCT and offer financing through CareCredit, Sunbit, and in-office payment plans.
