Payment methods


We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and CareCredit. Payment is due at the time service is rendered, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have questions about your account, give us a call — most billing questions get cleared up in a single conversation.

Sunbit financing


Dental work can be expensive — Sunbit lets you spread the cost out over flexible monthly payments without a hard credit pull. Approval typically takes about a minute at the front desk, and the payment fits your budget rather than the other way around.

CareCredit


CareCredit is a healthcare credit card with 0% promotional financing for qualifying purchases. Apply once at carecredit.com, and you can use it at our office (and at most other healthcare providers) any time you need it. Our CareCredit office code is 696QCJ.

Insurance billing


We'll send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies respond within four to six weeks. If your statement doesn't reflect the insurance payment within that window, please call us — usually a quick phone call clears up any misunderstanding. Any remaining balance after insurance is your responsibility, since the insurance contract is between you and the carrier.

If you don't have insurance, our Virginia Dental Club membership is usually the better deal. For $259/year, you get two cleanings, two exams, and all routine X-rays — plus 20% off everything else we do. No deductibles, no annual maximums, no waiting periods, no claim forms.

When is payment due?

Can I set up a payment plan?
Yes — we offer 0% interest payment plans, and we partner with Sunbit and CareCredit for longer-term financing. Payment plans need to be arranged before the procedure, so let us know early.
What is Sunbit?
Sunbit is a financing option designed for healthcare costs. You can get treatment now and pay it off in flexible monthly installments. Approval takes about a minute and doesn't require a hard credit pull.
What about CareCredit?
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card with 0% promotional financing for qualifying purchases. You apply once and can use it at our office for any procedure.
I don't have insurance. What are my options?
The Virginia Dental Club is our membership plan for patients without insurance — $259/year covers two cleanings, two exams, and X-rays, plus 20% off everything else. For one-time procedures, Sunbit and CareCredit financing are also available.
Am I responsible for charges my insurance doesn't cover?
Yes. Insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company, so any balance after insurance pays is your responsibility. We'll do our best to estimate your portion ahead of time, but final amounts depend on what the insurance company actually pays out.
