For Liberty University students & families
Dental care built around a student's life
Lynchburg Dentist is about ten minutes from Liberty's campus, with free parking, scheduling that works around your class load, and a flat-fee membership for students whose insurance doesn't reach Virginia. Here's how to get seen.
If you came to Liberty from out of state, your dentist is probably a long drive from campus, and your family's insurance may not stretch to Virginia. That leaves a lot of students putting off care until something hurts. It doesn't have to work that way. We keep it simple: a short trip off campus, honest prices, and a plan for students who don't have insurance at all.
The student reality, and what we do about it
We see a version of the same story every semester, so we've built our care around it.
- Your dentist is back home. A cleaning shouldn't require a flight. We become your dentist while you're in Lynchburg and coordinate with your hometown dentist over breaks when it helps.
- Your parents' insurance is out of state. We're in-network with Delta Dental Premier, Cigna, and United Concordia, and we file most other plans out-of-network. We check your exact benefits first, so the cost is clear before we start.
- You don't have dental insurance. The Virginia Dental Club is our answer: one flat annual fee, no deductibles, no claim forms, no waiting periods.
- Money is tight. We tell you the cost before we do anything, we never pressure you into treatment you don't need, and we offer financing when a bigger repair can't wait.
The Virginia Dental Club, and the math
For a student without dental insurance, our membership is usually the cheapest way to stay healthy. Here's exactly what it includes and how it compares to paying visit by visit.
Paying visit by visit
Two cleanings, two exams, and a set of routine X-rays over the year, each billed separately at standard fees. For most patients that already adds up to more than $279 on its own, before you get to anything else.
Virginia Dental Club
$279 / year
All of that included, two cleanings, two exams, routine X-rays, plus 20 percent off anything else you need, from a filling to Invisalign. No insurance card required.

Common questions
Frequently asked
- How far is Lynchburg Dentist from Liberty's campus?
- We're at 1934 Thomson Drive, about a ten-minute drive from Liberty University. There's free parking right at the door, so you're not feeding a meter or hunting for a garage between classes.
- I don't have dental insurance in Virginia. What are my options?
- Join the Virginia Dental Club, our in-house membership for patients without insurance. It's $279 a year and covers two cleanings, two exams, and routine X-rays, plus 20 percent off anything else you need. Two cleanings, two exams, and X-rays purchased separately usually add up to more than $279 on their own, so for most students the membership pays for itself before the discount even applies.
- My parents' insurance is from another state. Can you still help?
- Almost always, yes. We're in-network with Delta Dental Premier, Cigna, and United Concordia, and we file most other plans as out-of-network. We verify your specific benefits before treatment so you and your parents know the real out-of-pocket cost up front, with no surprises on the bill.
- Can you see me between classes or later in the day?
- We schedule around a student's week. Book online any hour, tell us your class times, and we'll find a slot that works. Cleanings and most visits are quick, and we'll always tell you honestly how long to budget.
- I don't have a car on campus. How do I get there?
- We're a short rideshare from campus, and many students split one with a roommate who needs a cleaning too. If getting here is a real barrier, call us at 540-315-3725 and we'll help you figure out timing that works.
- Do you handle wisdom teeth, emergencies, and Invisalign for students?
- Yes, all three, in one office on Thomson Drive. Wisdom-tooth evaluations and extractions, same-day emergency visits during office hours with our phones answered 24/7, and Invisalign clear aligners. Each has its own page below with the details.
