Lynchburg Dentist Expands to 15 Operatories
Our Thomson Drive office has grown from 6 operatories to 15, and the newly remodeled lower level is now open. Here is what the expansion means for your appointments, from shorter waits to more same-day emergency capacity.

Some news is easier to share than others. This one we have been waiting on for a while: our office at 1934 Thomson Dr has grown from 6 operatories to 15, and the fully remodeled lower level is now open to patients.
Why we grew
For years, six chairs served this practice well. But as more Lynchburg families found us, and as patients started driving in from Forest, Madison Heights, and the surrounding counties, the schedule got tight. Routine cleanings were booking out further than we liked, and on the busiest weeks we had to tell someone in pain "next week" when they needed to hear "this afternoon."
We had a choice: open a second location across town, or grow right where we are. We chose to stay. The building our patients already know, with the parking lot right out front, now has more than twice the treatment space it used to, all under one roof. You can read the full story on our expansion page.
What it means for your appointments
An expansion only matters if it changes your experience as a patient. Here is what the new space actually does:
- Shorter waits for routine care. More operatories means more hygiene appointments every day. Cleanings and checkups land on the calendar sooner, and at times that fit around work and school.
- More same-day emergency capacity. We hold same-day slots for dental emergencies Monday to Friday, and the new chairs give us more of them. A cracked tooth or a serious toothache is far more likely to be seen the day you call.
- Expanded implant capacity. Our in-house implant program now has dedicated room, so consultations, placements, and follow-up visits fit the schedule without a long runway.
- Expanded Invisalign capacity. Aligner treatment runs on short, regular visits, scans, check-ins, refinements. More chairs keep those visits easy to book, which keeps treatment on schedule.
What has not changed
Everything that matters stayed the same. Same address at 1934 Thomson Dr. Same phone number, 540-315-3725, still answered 24/7 by our smart answering system so you can get scheduled any hour, with treatment during office hours, Monday to Friday 8 to 5. Same doctors, Dr. Kim and Dr. Azevedo, and the same plain-English way of explaining what your mouth needs and what it will cost before anything happens.
Come see it
If you have not been in since the remodel, we would love to show you around. Whether it is a routine cleaning, a long-overdue checkup, or a tooth that has been bothering you, call 540-315-3725 or schedule a visit online. There is a chair waiting, and now there are fifteen of them.
